Aloysius's Past Achievement
Hi Guys
I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of my past achievements. In the year 2011, I submitted some of my works for the International Competition held by the Master Photographers Association (MPA)-UK. I am pleased to share with you that 3 of my works was given Merits Awards.
I was told later that there were thousands of submissions that year and that only the best are awarded Merits. It was truly a great honor that my works are recognized by The Master Photographer Association.
In the same year, I took another big step forward and submitted 20 pieces of my work for Licentiate Master Photographer Association (LMPA) grading. This is when a panel of distinguished judges from UK and Singapore photography scene grade your photos under very strict rules and conditions.
My mentor is Ryan Wong, MPA Singapore Ambassador. I am truly grateful for his guidances throughout my preparation of 20 submissions for the grading.
Finally THE Grading Day arrived.
The panel of judges, 5 of them, each specialize in a different field e.g. Fashion, Wedding, Portraits, Prints, Design. With their eagle eyes, they scrutinized every details of my photos from composition, emotions emitted, editing to prints etc. The grading process was indeed strict. NERVOUS is all that I felt throughout the whole session.

It seemed like ETERNITY before they announced the result. Finally, I was invited into the judging room. I was relieved and happy when they awarded Licentiate Master Photographer Association (LMPA) to me. Once more, my photography skill is recognized by these veterans of the Photography Arena.
I will persevere on the yellow brick road of photography and strive to polish my skills set to perfection as the technology advances.
